Jessica Hische Research

Jessica Hische grew up in Pennsylvania and pursued a career in graphic design thanks to the encouragement of a high school teacher. In her graphic design classes, she would go above and beyond on the projects and do more than what was asked. Her passion was illustration and image-making. She graduated college in 2006, and got a job as a freelance designer for a little shop in Philadelphia, where she helped make fancy books. She left and went to work for someone else, but the work became too much so she left there too. She decided to venture out on her own, which turned out to be the right thing to do. She now lives in San Francisco and has the nickname "That Drop Cap Girl." She is a letterer and an illustrator and is known for her side projects.
