Movie Summary
Raster art is made up of pixels whereas vector art is made up of mathematical formulas that allow the artwork to be scaled. The panel systems are the icons on the right hand of the screen. You can put a grid on your art by going to "View" and clicking "Show Grid." To hide a piece of your art, go to the "Object" menu, click "Hide," and choose "Selection." The art board tool can resize any of your art boards. The direct selection tool will highlight the anchor points that make up the object so you can change the shape of the object. If you click one object, hold down "Shift," and click another object, it highlights both objects. Then you can group them together by clicking "Object" then "Group." To resize your artwork: select your artwork, hold down "Shift," then drag the bounding box around to the desired size. To rotate your artwork: select your artwork, used the arched arrow around the bounding box, and rotate your object to the designated angle. To align and distribute objects: go to "Window," click "Align," then use the options to align or distribute the objects.
